Mexico Travel Vacation
When we think of beautiful places to go vacationing, a lot may come to our minds, but there is one that is especially interesting since it is the right combination of culture, ancient tradition, uniqueness, entertainment and beautiful beaches: Mexico. This Latin American country is definitely one of the most famous ones in the Anglo-Saxon world but however, this does not mean that it is fully understood.
Mexico is divided into six major regions which are Central Mexico, where Mexico City, the capital of the country, is located, Baja California, Northern Mexico, the Bajio, the Pacific Coast and the Yucatan Peninsula. It has thirty two states and the most important cities are Mexico City, Guanajuato, Acapulco, Cancun, Merida, Puebla, Puerto Vallarta, San Luis Potosi, Culiacan, Oaxaca and Veracruz among many others. There is no doubt that the capital city is definitely the most rich and extensive one, but many smaller cities, towns and villages have a nice share of uniqueness and tradition which are ideal to discover on a vacation trip.
However, we are here to talk to you about Mexican beaches and in this sense, the best of all is that Mexico is almost completely surrounded by water: both on its western and on its eastern sides, as well as a small part of its south. As you can imagine, this is one of the reasons why Mexico is one of the most popular destinations for beach lovers.
Some of the most important beaches are in the cities of Cancun, Playa del Carmen and in the island of Cozumel, all of them located on the eastern coast. Acapulco is definitely the most touristic destination in the western coast and its beaches and nightlife are famous worldwide.
